"Mommy what is that under my pee pee"

My oldest son Brendon asked me that tonight.  Of course i told him his testicles ( the correct term)  He the asked me "Mommy arethe tetsicles there to hold up my pee pee?  I thought that was so funy.  Isn't it amazing what kids come up with.  I mean really look at that face.

Wanting a Personalized license plate.....

hello ladies.  I am trying to think of something good for my license plate but i am not too creative.  I thought to NYMOM4 2  and fitecncr.  I love to play texas holdem.  I have 2 boys, and I am fighting colon/liver cancer.  i would love to hear some of your suggestions.  Keep in mind there is only room for 8 characters (numbers and letters). Vacationing with children.

How many of you have vacationed with children.  I usually feel like i need a vacation from my vacation.  Well This time we went on a cruise to Bermuda.  I was thinking ahead and paid for my cousin to come with us.  She was there to help with the kids.  Brendon went to ship camp and absolutely loved it.  My cousin watched Hunter and at night she watched both.  I was able to enjoy myself and relax most of the time.  We went out at night and i did not have to worry about the boys I knew they were taken care of.  So advice fro you next vacation, if you can afford it or have the opportunity try to bring a sitter so you are not so overwhelmed and are able to relax as well.

Everyone Needs A NIght Out

So last night I went out.  It was great.  I met my sorority sisters in NYC for dinner.  The kids were with Jason and I was with friends i have not seen in years.  We had a great time reminiscing and i enjoyed the night.  We are hoping to do it every year 

So what happens next

Yesterday was a very scary day.  i went for my colonoscopy and I was scared.  when i woke up after the procedure that was suppose to take 15 minutes but took 45 minutes I saw the doctor,  He told me that He found many polyps and removed them but also found a growth of some sort that will have to be surgically removed.  Right then my heart dropped.  I just thought of my mom and her colon cancer.  All that went through my head was what if I have colon cancer?  What am I going to do? What about my kids?  I asked him when did he think i need to get the surgery?  All he said was lets wait until the results of the biopsies come back.

So now it is a waiting game and i am scared out of my mind.  I am hooping it is nothing but thinking it is something.  I will do what my mother always says and hope for the best expect the worst.
